William A. Payne Memorial English Scholarship

The award is given in alternate years to a student in English and to a student in Music. The award recipient must demonstrate financial need and good character. If candidates have equal qualifications, preference is given to a student from a rural area. To qualify for consideration, a candidate must be enrolled as a continuing undergraduate major in English or Music as appropriate, able to demonstrate financial need, and able to demonstrate good character.
