Upperclassman Voice/Choir
Description:
Students receiving upperclass music scholarships must be music majors or minors.
Students receiving upperclass vocal music scholarships are required to participate in a vocal ensemble throughout the award year (allowable exceptions may include student teaching or internships).
Non-major status or non-participation in an appropriate ensemble will result in forfeiture of the scholarship.
Upperclass Scholarship applicants must possess a University GPA of 2.5 or higher.
Additional Requirements:
Applicants will be expected to participate in an interview with a panel of faculty judges during the Upperclass Scholarship Audition Day (held in March, exact date TBA).
Attach a .pdf copy of your current transcript or DARS report (Both are available on eServices for MSUM students).
Attach a Music Resume that lists your instrument/vocal range, past and current ensemble participation (curricular and extracurricular), years of applied study, teachers, awards received, honors/achievements, service to your ensembles, school, and community.
