University Gala Fine Arts Endowed Scholarship (Theatre Arts)

Overview
Donated by friends of the SMSU Music Program and the University Gala contributors. A minimum of one scholarship will be awarded to students with at least a sophomore majoring in each of the following areas: art, speech communication, theatre and creative writing, and participate in the University Gala activities. Apply with Art, Creative Writing, Speech Communication and Theater Departments. For English majors, this scholarship is awarded in the fall semester with the requirement that the recipient is enrolled in courses for the following spring semester. For Fine Arts and Communication majors, this scholarship is awarded in the spring semester.

Qualifications
Applicants must meet all of the qualifications in at least one of the following groups

Applicant admission status must be Undergraduate Regular, Undergraduate Transfer, or Undergraduate with Previous Degree.
Application status must be active.
Applicant must be a Junior, Senior or Sophomore.
Applicant must be majoring in Theatre Arts.
Applicant undergraduate GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0.
OR
Applicant admission status must be Undergraduate Regular, Undergraduate Transfer, or Undergraduate with Previous Degree.
Application status must be active.
Applicant must be a Junior, Senior or Sophomore.
Applicant must be majoring in Theatre Arts.
Applicant's transfer GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0.
