University Gala Fine Arts Endowed Scholarship (Literature/Creative Writing)

Overview
Donated by friends of the SMSU Music Program and the University Gala contributors. A minimum of one scholarship will be awarded to students with at least a sophomore majoring in each of the following areas: art, speech communication, theatre and creative writing, and participate in the University Gala activities. Apply with Art, Creative Writing, Speech Communication and Theater Departments. For English majors, this scholarship is awarded in the spring semester with the requirement that the recipient is enrolled in courses for the following fall/spring semesters.

Qualifications
Application status must be active.
Applicant must be a Junior, Senior or Sophomore.
Applicant must be a Current or New Entering student.
Applicant must be majoring in English, Literature and/or Creative Writing.
Applicant admission status must be Undergraduate Regular, Undergraduate Transfer, or Undergraduate with Previous Degree.
Applicant's undergraduate GPA must be 3.0 or higher.
Applicant must have a concentration of Creative Writing or Literature.
