STAR Scholars

Overview
The STAR Scholars Program is a last dollar* scholarship initiative that provides academic and financial support to traditionally underrepresented students in postsecondary education. While the program includes support to undocumented students, all students are encouraged to apply.

* Last Dollar scholarships close financial gaps by paying college bills that are not covered by federal and state grants such as Pell, SEOG, MN Grant, MN Dream Act and North Star Promise. Additionally, other scholarship awards generally pay prior to using last dollar awards.
