St. Luke's Health Careers Scholarship

Overview
The purpose of this fund is to provide financial assistance and recognition to Lake Superior College students enrolled in or accepted into health care career programs. Eligibility:

1. Students must be accepted for enrollment or a current student enrolled (and in good standing) in one of the following health care career programs: -Practical Nursing -AD Nursing -Surgical Technology -Radiologic Technology -Medical Laboratory Technician -Respiratory Care Practitioner -Medical Assistant -Physical Therapy Assistant

2. It must be the intention of the recipients to complete their respective programs

3. Demonstrated financial need

4. GPA of 3.0 or higher

5. Two letters of recommendation from faculty members of health care career programs at LSC or, for students who have just been accepted into a program, from qualified instructors who can attest to the student's motivation and academic performance.

Qualifications
Applicant must be enrolled in practical nursing, assisted degree nursing, surgical technology, gerontology, radiologic technology, medical laboratory technician, respiratory care practitioner, medical assistant, physical therapy assistant, emerging health program, sonography program
Applicant must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
