Sara J. Dobberteen Memorial Scholarship

Overview
The Sara J. Dobberteen scholarship was created in memory of Sara J. Dobberteen, a librarian at Minneapolis Technical College from 1992 to 1997. Sara loved helping students find whatever they needed; she had a special appreciation for students returning to school later in life and juggling family responsibilities. She also delighted in meeting students who came to Minneapolis from around the world, as she was a terrific traveler with a true interest in other cultures. This scholarship supports students who exhibit hard work through academic achievement and possess a financial need due to family responsibilities.
