Robert L Carothers Distinguished Student Writers Award

Overview
The Robert L. Carothers Distinguished Student Writers Award was created to acknowledge Chancellor Carothers outstanding contributions to the Minnesota State University System, and to higher education in Minnesota, by providing a way to highlight the work of student writers at Minnesota's state universities. This endowment provides one student at each of the state universities a $500 award in the spring of each year. Recommendations are provided by the state universities. Applicant must be enrolled in a Minnesota state university and applicant must be interested in and excel in writing. There is no restriction regarding major, year of study or financial need

Qualifications
Application status must be active.
Applicant admission status must be Graduate Regular, Post Masters Regular, Undergraduate Regular, Undergraduate Transfer, or Undergraduate with Previous Degree.
