Returned Peace Corps Volunteers and Friends Scholarship

This scholarship was established by the Returned Peace Corps Volunteers of Normandale Community College and friends who support the mission of the Peace Corps. This scholarship provides financial support as well as a service to Normandale students to encourage volunteerism and to promote international understanding.

You do not need to be a returned Peace Corps volunteer to apply.

Eligibility Criteria:
Must be a returning student with at least 12 credits earned at Normandale Community College
Must have a record of volunteerism and international travel/competency
Minimum GPA of 2.0
Must meet at least one of the following:
Completed a course at Normandale (other than a foreign language) with an international emphasis (meets Goal 8 of MnTC) and earned a grade of A or B
Traveled, studied, or lived abroad

Students apply for this scholarship in the fall and are awarded in the spring.
