Ramona Mendez Scholarship

To provide financial support to students at the University of Minnesota Crookston according to the award guidelines and criteria. Must be studying towards a degree in the area of business or agriculture. Must be from Minnesota in their junior or senior year of study or transfer student. Preference will be given to students from Polk, Pennington, Red Lake, Marshall, and Norman counties in Minnesota. If no students in these counties are eligible, preference will be given to a student from Minnesota, and lastly to a student from any other state. When possible, preference will be given to students who will enhance the student body diversity, as described by the University. This award may be renewable to the recipient, provided the recipient demonstrates satisfactory progress toward a degree and continues to meet the criteria of the award.
