William McPherson is a retired chemist who has a keen interest in education and currently serves on the Rainy River Foundation Board of Directors. He established this scholarship to promote the fine arts.

Preference given to an applicant pursuing a career in art, music or theater
Applicant must be attending the Rainy River Campus.
