Quinn R. Walsh Recovery Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Dori Walsh, mother of Quinn Richard Walsh, in his memory. Quinn was recovering from addiction into his sixth year. He passed on September 3, 2023. He was a son, a brother, a relative, and most importantly, a loving and proud father to his 12-year-old daughter. He managed a retail store, attended church regularly, led bible study, and had returned to study at Normandale in the fall of 2023. His family is focused on providing an educational opportunity with this scholarship in Quinn's memory. They want another individual who is needing this help to succeed with health, happiness, and success.

Eligibility Criteria:
Returning adult student (out of high school for a minimum of 10 years)
Has been in recovery for at least 5 years

Application includes a letter of recommendation from a sponsor or counselor
Application includes essay about applicant's recovery and goals
