Nick Kehoe Second Chance Memorial Scholarship

Incoming or returning students that have financial need, and may face additional barriers to getting an education (e.g. first generation college students, immigrants or refugees (or child of an immigrant or refugee, language barrier, or disability), Applicants must have faced considerable challenges in their lives, yet want, hope for, and are willing to work toward achieving a college education. Applicants must provide a personal essay (300 words or less) about the difficulties experienced in their life, how these obstacles were overcome and what was learned from their struggles. This award may be renewable for a second year provided the recipient still meets the same criteria.
