Minnesota Workforce Development Scholarship

New-entering transfer students who were previously awarded a Workforce Development Scholarship from a Minnesota State community college, graduated from the college with a two-year associate’s degree and are entering a qualifying St. Cloud State program are now eligible to carry their scholarship over to SCSU for an additional year. Answer the Minnesota Workforce Development Scholarship question under Miscellaneous on the scholarship application to be considered. The scholarship, funded by the Minnesota Legislature, provides free aid of $2,500 for the academic year ($1,250 per semester) for students enrolled in particular fields.

Additional eligibility requirements:
Enrolled for 9 or more credits per term
Overall GPA 2.0 or higher
Minnesota resident
Additional consideration given to students with financial need.
