The Michael Jackson Endowed Scholarship

The Michael Jackson scholarship provides financial assistance to Communication and Performing Arts students attending a UNCF-member college/university during the 2026-27 academic year.

Candidates must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. The scholarship will provide an award up to $4,000 depending on the financial need of the student as determined by the Financial Aid Administrator of University or College that the selected student attends.

This is a one-time award to be disbursed for the 2026-2027 school year.

In order to have a completed application package, candidates must include:

* A completed online Application Form

* An Essay (the prompt and instructions are located within the appropriate section of the application)

* A Transcript (unofficial accepted)

* A completed Reference Form

All application materials + the Reference Form from your Recommender must be submitted by the deadline for full consideration. All previous recipients of this award must apply for reconsideration.
