MavCares Student Scholarship

Seventy percent (70%) of Minnesota State Mankato students work during the school year to help pay for their education; the financial challenges students are facing right now are severe and could end the dream of attending or finishing college for some. MavCares Student Scholarships were donated by faculty, staff and friends of the University to support students experiencing financial challenges.

Applicants must be students who:

Are current undergrads working toward their first bachelor’s degree
Are enrolled full-time and plan to enroll full-time for the next year
Have a gpa of 2.5 or above
Demonstrate significant financial challenges
Scholarship payout will be split between Fall and Spring semesters and you must remain enrolled full-time both semesters.
