Mason Storm DeRosier Memorial Firefighting and EMT Scholarship

Overview
Mason was 21 years old and proudly served our country as a firefighter with the 148th National Guard Fighter Wind in Duluth, MN and was also a nationally registered Emergency Medical Technician. He was deployed to Kuwait for Operation Enduring Freedom. Upon returning home from deployment, Mason was pursuing his Paramedic licensure at St. Cloud State University. He tragically passed away on April 9th, 2015 three days before his 22nd birthday.

Applicants must

1) be currently enrolled in a LSC firefighting and/or EMT related program

2) having completed at least one semester,

3) have a GPA of 2.5 of higher

4) demonstrate the ability to complete the program and enter a career in firefighting, EMT or related field.

Qualifications
Applicant must be currently enrolled in a Lake Superior College firefighting and/or EMT related program, having completed at least one semeter.
