Mary S. Anderson

Mary S. Anderson was the daughter of Spencer and Alice (Hosmer) Stearns, and was a founding member of Stearns Foundation. Mary
enjoyed music, playing piano, reading, traveling and her PEO sisters. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family,
grandchildren and friends. Mary was employed as an administrative assistant at Ridgewater College from 1979 to 1989. Mary was a
life-long believer in education and while living at Harmony River Living Center, was moved and inspired by her many caregivers who
were struggling to juggle work and family while also trying to pursue a higher education. This scholarship fund was created to provide
financial assistance to employees at Harmony River who are working while also taking courses to further their education
