Marilyn T. Bryant Endowed Scholarship
Overview
Scholarship Description:
Established by Marilyn T. Bryant, Metropolitan State University Foundation Trustee Emerita, this scholarship will provide financial assistance to a student in a College of Management graduate program who maintains a cumulative graduate grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
One award of up to $2000 is given annually.
Eligibility Criteria:
Be officially admitted to Metropolitan State University by scholarship application deadline date
Experience, financial need and career plans consistent with the mission of the College of Management
Be enrolled in the semester(s) in which the funds are awarded
Fully admitted to a College of Management graduate program by scholarship application deadline date
Must submit an essay
Must submit a resume
Have a Metropolitan State University cumulative GPA of 3.5 or greater
Complete “Student Certification and Consent” form
Essay Questions:
Please submit an essay (minimum of 250 words, no more than two double spaced pages) answering the following essay questions/topics:
Why are you pursuing a graduate degree at Metropolitan State?
What led you to choose your current graduate degree program?
How do you plan to utilize your degree after you graduate?
What is your financial need? Include sources and amount of income, number of dependents for who you are financially responsible and current sources of graduate school funding.

Qualifications
Applicant must be a graduate student.
Applicant must be enrolled in the College of Management.
Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 greater.
