Marian Boyd Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to returning students, enrolled full or part-time, must have a 2.0 GPA, demonstrate financial need, and be a single custodial parent. Preference will also be given to a student who is currently participating or has participated in sports or athletics. Students must complete the following essay question: What barriers have you had to overcome to be successful at college? Preference will be given to a student who has been personally disadvantaged or faced systemic barriers to academic success (including but not limited to race, ethnicity, gender, disability, orientation or other factors). This scholarship was formerly known as the Student Retention Scholarship and is now known as the Marian Boyd Memorial Scholarship in memory of President Boyd's mother.
