Scholarship Description:

These scholarship opportunities are provided through a generous contribution from Mains’l Services Inc.

Mains’l Services is an innovative behavioral health and mental health services company. It helps people live successfully in their own homes and communities by providing innovative supports that promote a meaningful life. Mains’l also provides financial management services to agencies. These services include handling employee payroll, tax filing and processing payments for purchased goods and services. Their vision is a world where all people live their lives with meaning and purpose. Their mission is to offer innovative supports to people, responding to their hopes and dreams. Mains’l is based in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.

Average award is $1000 to undergraduate students who have a declared major or minor in Human Services, or, College of Individualized Studies students who have an Aging Studies/Gerontology or Disability Studies focus.

Eligibility Criteria:

Be officially admitted to Metropolitan State University by scholarship application deadline date
Be an undergraduate student
Must have a declared major or minor in Human Services or be a declared College of Individualized Studies major or minor with a focus in Aging Studies/Gerontology, or Disability Studies.
Must be registered for a minimum of 3 credits for each of the semester(s) in which the funds are applied (generally Fall and Spring semesters).
Have a Metropolitan State University cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater
Complete “Student Certification and Consent” form
Qualifications
Applicant must be an undergraduate student.
Applicant must be pursuing a major or minor with a focus in Aging Studies/Gerontology or Disability Studies.
Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater.
