Lester R. Hansen Entrepreneurial Scholarship

To encourage and support the education of students enrolled in the Entrepreneur Certificate Program who have demonstrated aptitude and desire for higher education, building a personal and professional brand, the entrepreneurial mindset, entrepreneurship fundamentals with a bias towards potential recipients who are interested in the culinary profession or food service industry and mature students with prior work history. This scholarship was donated by his children and grandchildren in honor of Lester R Hansen, who pursued multiple food service entrepreneur endeavors during his career and served as a past president of the Minnesota Restaurant Association.
