Lake Assault Boats Welding Scholarship

Overview
Lake Assault Boats is a Superior, Wisconsin-based manufacturer of custom, mission-specific aluminum boats. Acquired by Fraser Industries in 2009, the company designs and builds specialized vessels for fire departments, law enforcement, military and government agencies. Lake Assault combines modern aluminum fabrication and marine engineering with the more than 130-year shipbuilding heritage of Fraser Shipyards.

The Applicant:
1. Must be declared for the Welding program.
2. Must have completed or anticipate completing at least one semester at Lake Superior College.
3. Must be in academic good standing (2.0 cumulative GPA or higher with 2/3 of courses completed).
