Kathleen E. Chalekian Endowed Scholarship
Overview
Scholarship Description:
Kathleen E. Chalekian was an assistant professor in Marketing in Metropolitan State’s College of Management for three years prior to her death in 2009. Kathleen strongly believed in the value of a college education, a value that went beyond career preparation to the far more important benefit of life preparation. She paid for her own education by working hard and achieving academic excellence, earning a Bachelor’s degree and two Master's degrees. Kathleen’s passions in life were her family, her marketing career and the Metropolitan State University community, and it was her desire and her legacy to reward Metropolitan’s hard-working marketing major students with a scholarship.
