Judith Pett Outstanding Literature Student Scholarship

This scholarship was established through the generosity of retired Normandale Community College women who gather to share their love of reading. This scholarship provides financial support for students in need. It was renamed in 2023 after the death of Judith Pett, a former English faculty member who taught at Normandale for 20 years.

Judy was a gourmet cook and an avid reader who enjoyed sharing her love of learning with her family and friends. Above all, she was a beloved and devoted wife, mother, sister, friend, and "Baba." She is deeply missed.

Eligibility Criteria:
Students are nominated and selected by the Normandale Community College English Department
Student must be attending NCC at the time of the award
