Jon G Carlstrom Family Scholarship
Jon G. Carlstrom Family Scholarship
The Jon G. Carlstrom Family Trust established this scholarship to honor the lives and legacy of Jon Carlstrom and the values he instilled—hard work, community, and the importance of education.
In recognition of his lifelong commitment to learning and the communities that shaped him, the Trust is proud to offer two separate scholarships, each awarded to a graduating senior from the high schools within the communities that touched him the most.
One scholarship will be awarded to a student from Cleveland High School in Cleveland, Minnesota, the alma mater of Jon’s children, Ian Carlstrom and Elspeth Carlstrom.
One scholarship will be awarded to a student from Bayfield High School in Bayfield, Wisconsin, a community Jon beloved.
Through this scholarship, the family hopes to both honor Jon’s memory and invest in students from the small towns and schools that played such a meaningful role in his life.e communities that touched him the most.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
