John and Anne Frey Natural Sciences Sophomore Scholarship

Applicants must be students who:

Have completed their Freshman (first year) on campus at Minnesota State University, Mankato (Students with PSEO and transfer credits are not eligible)
Successfully completed their Freshman year with a significant balance of science and mathematics courses
Fully intend to major in one of the natural sciences (biological sciences, chemistry/biochemistry, geology and physics)
Exhibit financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid
Have a minimum composite G.P.A. of 2.75
Applicants will be required to write an essay about their background and what they intend to do in the future.
