Joan P. Spivey Endowed Memorial Math Scholarship

This scholarship was established in memory of Joan Spivey, former Normandale Community College Math Professor. It provides financial support for students enrolled in Normandale Community College's Math Program.

Eligibility Criteria:
Initial student enrollment at the 601 level (eligible for developmental math)
Successful completion of "0700 proficiency" level of developmental math in two semesters or fewer
Enrolled in Math 1100 immediately subsequent to semester in which "0700 proficiency" is obtained

Application Requirements:
Submit letter of recommendation from a Normandale Math Center Instructor
Notes:
This scholarship is awarded at the discretion of the Math and Computer Science departments - students do not apply for this award.
