IT Services Scholarship

Overview
Scholarship Description:

This scholarship supports Computer Science, Cybersecurity, and Management Information Systems majors.

Scholarship awards are generally in the amount of $1,000.

Eligibility Criteria:

Be officially admitted to Metropolitan State University by scholarship application deadline date
Be enrolled as a student in good standing.
Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
Must submit an Essay.
Complete “Student Certification and Consent” form
Must be majoring in: Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Management Information Systems majors
Complete “Student Certification and Consent” form
Preference given to IET student workers who are employed at Metro State in IET. Submit a letter from supervisor verifying employment.
Essay Questions:

Please submit an essay (minimum of 250 words, no more than two double spaced pages) addressing the following essay questions/topics:

Describe how your program studies will contribute to your future career. For IET student workers please also describe how your work experience will contribute to your future career.

Be sure the requirements for the scholarship(s) you are applying for are available when you work with them.
