Family Dentist Tree Professional Scholarship – Dental Assistant*

The Family Dentist Tree Professional Scholarships are awarded to incoming or returning students at RCTC majoring in the Dental Assistant program. Students must be a resident of Minnesota, have and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 and must be accepted into the DA program and enrolled for a minimum of 9 credits in fall and spring semester to receive the scholarship. Preference will be given to full-time students (12 credits or more), participation in volunteering or activities and/or pursued additional learning opportunities or work experiences in the field of dentistry. Applicants must answer an essay question: Describe any work experience, additional education or volunteering that you have done outside of course requirements that demonstrate your commitment to the dental profession. As a condition of acceptance of this scholarship, the recipient will participate in an on-site tour of the facilities and a photo with staff from the donor organization.
