Essentia Volunteer Services Scholarship

Overview
The Duluth Area Volunteer Service Organization of Essentia Health represents a large, dedicated group providing support to patients, families, and staff at Essentia Health facilities in the Duluth area, including the downtown campus and Miller-Hill Health Plaza. Volunteers assist with roles such as greeting, patient care, gift shop support, and hospice care, and also offer scholarships to students pursuing health science careers.

The Applicant:

1. Must have completed or anticipate completing at least one semester at Lake Superior College, in good academic standing (2.0 cumulative GPA or higher with 2/3 of courses completed)

2. Must be declared for a healthcare program. May be fulfilling prerequisite courses.

3. Healthcare programs include Nursing, Radiological Technology, Medical Lab, Phlebotomy, Respiratory Therapy, Massage Therapy and Dental Hygiene.

How many totally completed credits at LSC do you have (including anticipated credits at the end of this semester and credits that transferred successfully)?
If you are a current LSC student, are you in "Academic Good Standing ?" (this means you have at least a 2.0 GPA and have completed 67% or more of your total classes)
What is your current major or program area? (Not listed in alphabetical order but rather by program clusters)
