Established by retired faculty member Dr. Tyrone S. Birkeland, 2002 & 2006 NCTC Foundation President. For a full-time student in the Communications & Humanities liberal arts pathway and strong focus on English, Speech, Theater, Music, or Languages with a financial need.

Qualifications
Applicant must be enrolled full time (12+ credit hours)
Applicant must be a student at the Thief River Falls Campus
Must be a Liberal Arts student.
