Description:
This scholarship is awarded to a full-time, Upperclass student who is registered for applied voice lessons and one of the large choral ensembles at MSUM. Students are not required to be a Music major or minor.
Additional Requirements:
Attach a Music Resume that lists your vocal range, past and current ensemble participation (curricular and extracurricular), years of applied study, teachers, awards received, honors/achievements, and service to your department, school, and community.
Students applying must prepare a 4-6 minute performance using appropriate audition material as advised by your faculty. Auditions will take place during the Upperclassman Scholarship Audition Day each spring.
Current MSUM Upperclassman (having already attended at least one year at MSUM) who choose to apply for a Music Education or a Music Academic scholarship will be expected to participate in a formal interview during the Upperclassman Scholarship Audition Day.
