Dave Dorsey and Family

The Dave Dorsey & Family Scholarship honors Dave Dorsey, a founding faculty member of Willmar Community College since its
inception in 1961. Dave dedicated more than 35 years teaching speech communication and physical education, directing plays, and
providing radio commentary for the college sports teams. This scholarship supports students pursuing four-year degrees beyond
Ridgewater. Dave's four children earned associates of arts degrees from Willmar CC (Ridgewater) and went on to earn bachelor's
degrees.
