Computer Sciences Scholarship

Scholarship Description:

This scholarship was created by alumnus Dave Larson and is available to undergraduate students in computer science or cyber security. Dave received his graduate degree in Computer Science from Metro State and valued his experience at Metro State as both a student and coming back as an instructor. He hopes his scholarship can help ignite a career for a student interested in computer science or cyber security—especially with a hope of diversifying this field.

The average award amount is $1,000.

Eligibility Criteria:

Be officially admitted to Metropolitan State University by scholarship application deadline date
Be an undergraduate student in good academic standing with a declared Computer Science or Cyber Security Major
Must be registered for the semester in which the funds are applied as at least a half time student (a minimum of 6 credits)
Preference may be given to African American Students
Complete “Student Certification and Consent” form
Qualifications
Applicant must be pursuing a Computer Science or Cyber Security Major
Applicant must be an undergraduate.
