Applicants must be students who:

Have officially applied for and been accepted in the College of Science, Engineering and Technology
Be accepted as a Civil Engineering major
Have an excellent academic record
Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrate leadership on campus
Preference may be given to students from rural communities.
