Bernie and Natalie Steffen Endowed Scholarship
This scholarship was established to honor Bernie and Natalie Steffen who were both instrumental in helping to make our community a better place to live. Bernie, an attorney for Barna, Guzy & Steffen, died in 2002. He was passionate about the value of education. Natalie, a member of the College Foundation Board and Advisory Committee, fought for more government support of higher education, greater accessibility, more accountability and in particular, more financial support for students. This scholarship is intended for a proven self-sufficient student who demonstrates great character through involvement in on- and off-campus activities. Qualifying applicants must also demonstrate ineligibility for financial aid
Scholarship Recipients will be expected to meet the following criteria to receive funds:
- Enroll in 8+ Coon Rapids Campus credits each semester
- Maintain a 3.0 GPA
