Arlen M. Sjerven Memorial Scholarship

Arlen Sjerven was counselor and Director of Admissions at Ridgewater from 1970-1998. Arlen’s joy was helping students set and
meet their career and life goals. An avid golfer, Arlen served as golf coach at the college and as a gifted public speaker was emcee at
many college events and announcer for basketball and football games. Arlen served his community in leadership positions in his
church, Kiwanis, United Way, and the Barn Theater Board.
