Overview
Donated by SMSU Alumni and Friends of SMSU. This is for the children or grandchildren of SMSU Alumni. The scholarship is available for new entering students with a high school GPA of 2.5 or higher. This is a one-year scholarship. Apply with SMSU Foundation Office.

This scholarship has an additional essay requirement.

Qualifications
Applicants must meet all of the qualifications in at least one of the following groups

Applicant must be a Current or New Entering student.
Application status must be active.
Application must be accepted.
Applicant High School GPA must be greater than or equal to 2.5.
Applicant’s mother, father, grandfather, grandmother, or legal guardian must be a graduate of SMSU.
OR
Applicant must be a Current or New Entering student.
Applicant’s mother, father, grandfather, grandmother, or legal guardian must be a graduate of SMSU.
Application must be accepted.
Application status must be active.
Applicant's transfer GPA must be greater than or equal to 2.5.
