Abacus Fund Scholarship for Mathematics and Computer Science Majors

Overview
The recipient of this award must declare a major within the Mathematics and/or Computer Science department. Awarding of this scholarship will be based on the recipient's performance in the chosen major at SMSU and the Math and Computer Science department, recommendation from department faculty, and the potential to succeed in the chosen major area. Donated by faculty, staff and friends of the university.

**Award amount varies based on number of applicants.

Qualifications
Application status must be active.
Applicant must be enrolled in Computer Science or Mathematics.
Applicant undergrad GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0.
Applicant admission status must be Undergraduate Regular, Graduate Regular, Undergraduate Transfer, Undergraduate with Previous Degree, or Post Masters Regular.
Applicant must have completed 15 credit hours.
